Important Town Meeting
Important Town Meeting!
Residents of Dunmanway are being invited to play a direct role in shaping the future of a key local site at an upcoming public gathering focused on redevelopment plans for the Old West End Building and its adjoining car park.
IMPORTANT TOWN MEETING
Have your say Monday 2nd March
The meeting will provide the community with an opportunity to discuss ideas, raise concerns, and contribute to early-stage planning for the future of the West End site. With the area currently underutilised, the discussion marks an important step toward transforming the space into something that better serves the town’s needs.
Organisers have confirmed that a working group will be formed following the meeting. This group will include representatives from a cross-section of Dunmanway’s community groups, clubs, and organisations. The goal is to collaborate closely with Cork County Council to ensure that local voices remain central throughout the redevelopment process.
The event will take place at 7:00pm in Brookpark Commercial Park, Dunmanway. All members of the public are encouraged to attend, share their views, and contribute constructively to the conversation.
Community participation at this stage is critical. Redevelopment projects shape towns for decades, and strong local input can influence everything from design priorities to community facilities and long-term economic impact.
If you care about the future of Dunmanway, this is your opportunity to step forward, ask questions, and be part of the decision-making process.
